Taylor Nkollo legal Women on the Rise Scholarship
Vision
The Taylor Nkollo Legal Women on The Rise Scholarship was created when Taylor saw the high costs associated with her law school applications. As a first-generation law school student applicant, she quickly saw how daunting the application and expensive fees could deter students from finishing or even beginning the process.
Eligibility
Applicants must be (1) a self-identifying Black Woman, (2) enrolled in a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree program or a recent graduate, (3) with permanent residence in Texas, (4) applying for a Fall 2022 or Fall 2023 Law school, and (5) should have a financial need.
*There is no LSAT, GPA, or age requirement for this scholarship.
Awards
Two women will be awarded financial support to help cover the cost of the LSAT and law school applications. Awardees will also receive mentorship through their law school application process and professional development.
